Unigold sign up for NATO IT Support
Unigold, secures NATO contract
Unigold have recently gained a lucrative support contract with NATO to supply IT support and products to satisfy a range of their requirements.
Unigold, which has its business-dedicated office in Bridge Barn Lane, off Goldsworth Road, has just delivered its first order to NATO. The fibre-optic cabinets and fibre multi-mode adapters were delivered to NATO headquarters in the Netherlands for onward dispatch to a highly sensitive military destination.
The company is tendering for the supply of PCs and servers for another major NATO project. It also has two specially configured servers being tested by the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS) and subject to the success of the tests Unigold is expecting a substantial further order.
Unigold has seen a 100 percent increase in its client base during the last year and this has led to the opening of the Woking office that will concentrate on business sales and support with the established Guildford office dealing with home-based opportunities.
Founding director Matt Gaskin said that while IT service and maintenance remained at the heart of the company's work for its 1,500 clients throughout the UK, Unigold recognised the need to develop new products and services to meet the needs of a fast-changing market.
